Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Wrath of the Triple Goddess is yet another hilarious and heartening addition to the Percy Jackson series.
Any Percy Jackson fans here? 😉 My girls are huge fans and they've been looking forward to the 7th book of the series. So thank you Experal Singapore for sending us Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Wrath of the Goddess - both my girls are elated to receive this new release! Here's Little E's review:
Percy Jackson plans to have one regular school year but the gods have other plans for him. The triple goddess, Hecate, offers him another opportunity to get his second recommendation letter to get into New Rome University: he just has to pet-sit her polecat and mastiff over the Halloween week while she's not around. Easy peasy, right? But when the terrifying pets escape, Percy and his friends have to track them down or face the wrath of Hecate.
This is yet another hilarious and heartening addition to the Percy Jackson series, where long-time and new fans alike will find themselves rooting for Percy and his friends as they go on this thrilling adventure to hunt down Hecate's pets and set things right. This book had me hooked from the first page to the last. I really love how Percy, Annabeth and Grover have grown and strengthened their bonds. The occasional lessons the book offers and its witty jokes make this story very enjoyable, and I can't wait for the next book of the series. (Mr Rick Riordan, there will be one right?)
Little E recommends this middle-grade book for those 9 years and older, who love fantasy and Greek mythology. It's best to read this after reading the earlier books in the series - with the start of the school hols, it's a good time to binge read the series, no?
