5 highlights at The Ayam Superkids Carnival you don't want to miss (psst, it's free to join!)

The Ayam Superkids Carnival at Waterway Point Village Square is serving up games, gifts and sardine tacos from now till 12 October 2025—and it’s totally free to join.

Hey parents, if you're looking for something fun to do with the kids this week, swing by The Ayam Superkids Carnival, happening now till 12 October 2025 at Waterway Point, Village Square!

I just got back from the event and couldn’t wait to share the scoop. While it’s designed for kids aged 12 and below, I had a blast myself. It’s colourful, interactive, and packed with wholesome fun that’ll keep your little ones entertained. As an adult, I was actually very entertained too 😁. Here are five highlights at The Ayam Superkids Carnival that you won’t want to miss:

1) Fun games and activities

i. Build Your Super Shapes

Get hands-on with a giant 1m x 1m tangram puzzle featuring Ayam Brand-inspired designs. I love tangrams, and this oversized version was surprisingly satisfying to piece together!

ii. Sardine Memory Match

A digital twist on the classic memory game where kids tap to match sardine-themed images on a screen. My kids and I have always loved memory games, and this screen-based version adds a fun, modern spin.

iii. Sardine Cans Super Stack

Stack sardine cans with one hand—sounds simple, but it’s trickier than it looks! I took a few tries to get mine balanced without toppling. Definitely a fun challenge. Here's a photo of me totally spooked when it almost collapse 😂

Tip: The games come with junior versions for younger kids (e.g. stack 6 cans instead of 8). So don't worry if you think your preschooler might find the games challenging. And a little bird told me the game crew is super kind—if your child needs a bit more time or a second chance, they’re happy to oblige 😉.

2) Redeem an adorable sardine taco plushie

Complete all three games and your child (12 and under) gets to redeem this super cute sardine taco plushie. Look how adorable this is:

Do note that the plushie redemption is only for kids 12 years and younger. Those older can play the games too but sorry, you won't be able to redeem the plushie 😅.

3) Photobooth fun

Snap a pic at the carnival’s photobooth and get two printed copies to take home. Look how nice this is:

You can also opt to have the photos emailed to you. And they come together with a gif video! How cool is that!

Do note that the photobooth operates daily from 5pm to 9pm.

4) Free sardine tacos samples

Sample Ayam Brand’s specially created sardine taco at the carnival! Each taco comes with mashed sardines, crisp lettuce, sweet corn kernels, melted cheese, Thousand Island dressing and a squeeze of lime – all wrapped in a lightly toasted shell.

I tried one and it's really delicious. I'm inspired to make my own at home!

5) Free sardines for PSLE Students

If your child just sat for the PSLE, they can redeem a free can of Ayam Brand Sardines in Tomato Sauce (155g) by showing their student card or exam slip. Redemption is daily from 10am to 10pm, while stocks last.
