Puzzles in the Mist happened over the weekend at SAFRA Toa Payoh and we had lotsa fun trying our hands at the puzzle game adapted from Singlit titles #MyBFFIsAnAlien, Mist-Bound by Daryl Kho and Lemonade Sky by JH Low.
I'm very impressed by how the game weaved the storylines of our books into an interactive and immersive experience and how creative the puzzles are! My girls also loved the reward that came after they solved all the puzzles 😄
Daryl and I had attended the preview earlier on and were a bit concerned that it would be embarrassing if we couldn't solve the puzzles (well, y'know we are the book authors 😅) but we did pretty well with teamwork and a bit of guidance from the staff 😄
This unique experience is co-presented by Singapore Book Council and part of Textures 2023 by The Arts House at The Old Parliament , a campaign which celebrates Singapore literature through engaging activities.
Puzzles in the Mist is only at Safra TP on 10-12 Feb but am hearing it might be brought to other locations/events going forward? 😊 Well, if it is, will keep y'all posted!

Coming soon to SAFRA Toa Payoh on 10-12 Feb, is Puzzles in the Mist, an in-person quest-like puzzle game that weaves the storylines of My BFF Is an Alien, Mist-Bound and Lemonade Sky into an interactive and immersive experience!
This game is free with registration at Peatix. Each ticket entitles entry to a team of 2-4, meaning you just need to get 1 tic if you have a group of 2-4. If you have 5-8 in your group, choose 2 tics. The system won't let you choose more than 2 tics (I think max capacity per session is But hurry, slots are filling up fast!
