思考世界的孩子问个不停 is a Chinese Q&A book that explores topics children are naturally curious about, with simple explanations and cute illustrations tailored for young readers.

I love fun fact books that are interesting and engaging for kids and I've recommended quite a few in the past. Here's one more, but in Chinese: 思考世界的孩子问个不停 🤗

There are 30 questions/topics in this book ranging from fact-based ones like "What is time?" "Why do we need to go to school?" to thought-provoking ones like "Why is there war?" "What is racial prejudice?" to philosophical ones like "What is considered normal?" "Is loneliness painful?" The answers are laid out simply for children with cute illustrations.

I think this book is something upper primary children (10 years and up) could tackle on their own, though it is also great for parents to read with their child so as to discuss more about the topics. In fact, I think it'd be pretty useful for upper primary students who has to take Chinese oral (Sorry, not in time for the P6-ers' PSLE oral 😅) as they can learn to phrase sentences and familiarise with terms associated with common topics like responsibility, friendship, trust, anger etc 😁

This is yet another gem brought in by Shiawase Books - I'm constantly astounded by the unique and interesting Chinese books uncovered by their lady boss Tan Ee-ling!
