Big E, my 12-year-old, would like to recommend A Dash of Dragon, a middle-grade book trilogy, by Heidi Lang & Kati Bartkowski 🤗
This trilogy tells the adventures of 13-year-old Lailu Loganberry, head chef of a new restaurant, specialising in monster cuisine. In each book, the feisty chef - an expert in hunting and cooking dangerous beasts - has to save her restaurant and city from new villians and challenges, including a vicious loanshark, and evil scientists and robots.

Big E finished the trilogy in a matter of days. We have the first two books but wasn't in time to get the third, so good thing we found it in the National Library. The first 2 books are available there too 😉 Big E recommends this series for those 10 years old and up.
