The Integrated Mathematics assessment books for Algebra and Geometry, Mensuration & Trigonometry (Express and IP) by Singapore Asia Publishers are great for practices and reinforcing concepts taught in school.
It's the start of a new school year and Big E has been quite anxious to start practising on the math topics her teacher has taught. We looked through Big E's math syllabus for the year and decided to get the Integrated Mathematics assessment books for Algebra and Geometry, Mensuration & Trigonometry for Sec 2 (Express and IP) by Singapore Asia Publishers.
Having used the Sec 1 versions of these assessment books, Big E reckons the Sec 2 books would be helpful as well. Most importantly, the topics covered in both books are what her school is teaching. She says, "I like that there are worked examples and the practices allow me to reinforce concepts taught in school."
Again for secondary school assessment books, I would suggest checking the topics in the books are in line with your child's school's syllabus, especially for the IP stream, before getting them. We had gotten some in the past which weren't relevant as IP syllabus can vary among schools, but these are definitely in line with what Big E's school is teaching.
