Thank you for dropping by the book launch of My BFF Is an Alien: Invasion at AFCC!

Thank you for dropping by the book launch of My BFF Is an Alien: Invasion - I had a blast at the Asian Festival of Children's Content (AFCC 2022)!

Thank you to everyone who came down to the book launch of #MyBFFIsAnAlien Invasion at the NLB on 29 May! I had a blast sharing about my latest book, making a spaceship origami with everyone, answering your many great questions and meeting so many of you in person.

Origami time!

In Abri's words in Turbulence: "I will always remember this day, when I took wefies and signed autographs like a celebrity!"

Also, really glad to meet Evelyn Sue Wong who was there earlier for her book launch of Makan Mischief (thank you for your words of encouragement, Evelyn πŸ™), Denise from Closetful of Books who has been running the AFCC's festival bookshop tirelessly the past few days, and the amazing David Liew who illustrated some of my favourite books including The Changemaker series and Ellie Belly series 🀩

Last but not least, my heartfelt thanks to Team Epigram - Edmund, Samantha and Michelle - and the Asian Festival of Children's Content staff for their support of my book launch. Thank you for making this event happen ❀ This year's AFCC has come to an end but I will be looking forward to the event next year 😊

Team Epigram!

Heartiest congrats to Daryl Kho and JH Low whose respective books, Mist-bound and Lemonade Sky, won in the MG and picture book categories! πŸ₯³ I had a wonderful time at the ceremony meeting fellow shortlistees including Sophia Huang and Priscilla Tey while enjoying the good food 😁

I also enjoyed myself earlier in the day moderating the young adult fantasy novel panel which featured Kayce Teo and Joyce Chua - you ladies made my job so easy with such detailed and insightful sharings!

And thank you Low Ying Ping, Hwee Goh and Eeling for coming down to support us! 😘 It was also great to meet so many fellow authors Lianne Ong, Janice Khoo, Pauline Loh and Emily Lim-Leh in between events too - it's been too long! ❀
